Description
The Summit will showcase the best of youth changemakers taking bold action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) creating real on-ground impact, with the aim to inspire more youth across the globe to take action on the SDGs.
At the 8th edition of the Summit, aside from showcasing some of the most impactful youth-led projects, we will also engage in a larger ecosystem dialogue on two thematic areas that encompass 1M1B's work - Technology for Social Impact and Sustainability & Green Skills. Over 20 young changemakers from India taking bold action on the SDGs will be showcasing their projects at the summit. The summit will also feature discussions with global leaders and the impact created through our work in India. We believe that the dialogue and larger ecosystem alignment can go a long way in the sustenance and scale of youth-led projects on the SDGs. Projects that have bent the curve on the chosen SDGs need to scale beyond limited geography to cause the intended on-ground impact. The 1M1B Activate Impact Summit has been recognized as an example of how youth across the world can take the lead in accelerating the achievement of the SDGs and amplifying UN campaigns, messages, and key priorities.
